Terms of Service

1. Agreement

By creating an account or using StudyPrep, you agree to these terms. If you are under 18, a parent, guardian, or school must approve your use. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

2. The service

StudyPrep provides study tools: notes, flashcards, quizzes, guided math courses, optional test-prep practice, planning, progress tracking, and an AI tutor. Features vary by plan, and access may require approval by an administrator such as a school or organization.

3. Your account

Keep your sign-in credentials private and tell us promptly about any unauthorized use of your account. You are responsible for activity under your account. We may suspend accounts that violate these terms or put the service or other users at risk.

4. Your content

You own the notes and documents you add. You give us permission to store and process them solely to provide the service to you — for example, generating flashcards, quizzes, and tutor responses from your materials. Only upload content you have the right to use. We may remove content that is unlawful or violates these terms.

5. AI-generated content

AI features generate study material and explanations automatically. They can be wrong. AI output is a study aid, not professional advice, and should not be your only source for graded work or high-stakes decisions. Verify important answers against your course materials and instructors.

6. Test-prep disclaimer

Digital SAT Prep in StudyPrep is unofficial practice. StudyPrep is not affiliated with or endorsed by the College Board. Score bands are estimates for study planning only and are not predictions of official scores. SAT is a trademark of the College Board.

7. Acceptable use

Do not:

• Use the service to cheat on exams or violate your school’s academic-integrity rules.
• Upload unlawful, infringing, or harmful content.
• Probe, disrupt, or overload the service, or attempt to access other users’ data.
• Resell or scrape the service or its content.

8. Plans, billing, and cancellation

Paid plans renew automatically each billing period until cancelled. You can cancel any time; your plan stays active until the end of the period already paid. Usage limits and AI quotas apply per plan. We will give notice before any price change takes effect on your subscription.

9. Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains what we collect and how we use it. It is part of these terms.

10. Disclaimers and liability

The service is provided “as is.” To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim implied warranties and are not liable for indirect or consequential damages. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

11. Changes

We may update the service and these terms. For material changes we will update the effective date above and notify you in the app or by email before they take effect. Continued use after that means you accept the updated terms.
